We find that Palestinian Citizens of Israel mobilize politically in response to a potential threat to their citizenship—their proposed transfer under the Trump peace plan in 2020.

How do people respond when someone from their social group condemns ingroup misbehavior? What factors can make people more receptive to this type of “ingroup policing?” My dissertation and follow-up research look at these questions focused in the context Israeli Jews.
